Alleged Xiaomi Mi Note 2 teaser outed with new pricing details

Earlier today, we reported that Xiaomi has released their official press invites for their upcoming October 25th launch event for the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Note 2.

Right now, the first ever teaser for the device was disseminated in Chinese Weibo as well with a rough outline of how the Mi Note 2 could possibly look like. As seen in the teaser, it do provide some hint that the highly anticipated phablet may not be featuring a physical Home button and could indeed come with a borderless edge-to-edge display, akin to what was rumored earlier on.

For those who’re interested, the Chinese characters on the teaser is read as a “endless search” , which once again may provide more credence that the device could be borerless.

From what we learned so far, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is expected to feature a 5.7″ 2K curved display, a Snapdragon 821 SoC, 6GB of RAM, 128GB internal storage, 16 megapixels dual-rear camera as well as a 8MP front-camera for selfies and video call purposes.

According to a new leaked earlier today, the highest-end model of the Mi Note 2 will come with a hefty price tag of 5,699 Yuan ($846). So be prepared to burn your wallet if you’re planning to get this 5.7″ monster.
