Official: Acer SOSPIRO A60 debuts with UNISOC SC7731E chipset

Acer has officially announced a new entry-level smartphone dubbed as the Acer SOSPIRO A60 in the Mexican market where the phone carries an affordable launch price of 1,599 Mexican Peso ($80).

The new Acer SOSPIRO A60 builds around a 6” LCD display featuring a HD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, as well as an 8 megapixels front-facing camera to help with selfies and video calls.

Speaking of photography, the phone also has a pair of rear-facing cameras comprising of an 8 megapixels main camera and a 2 megapixels auxiliary camera. Other than that, there’s also a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication as well.

Under the hood, the Acer SOSPIRO A60 is powered by a quad-core UNISOC SC7731E chipset which will be paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage that’s further expandable via a microSD card.

To keep it’s lights on, the device is backed by a respectable 3,000mAh with an unspecified charging speed. As far as software is concerned, the phone will be shipped with a slightly older Android 11 Go Edition.
