This year, Xiaomi unveiled the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro in China. These devices are equipped with the Snapdragon 870 and Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipsets, respectively. It appears that the brand could be working on the Xiaomi Pad 7 series of tablets for the year 2024. A new leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, seems to have revealed the first details of what appears to be the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro.

Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro specifications (rumored)

According to information from leaker Digital Chat Station, the camera system of the Xiaomi Pad 7 / 7 Pro shares a similar design with this year’s flagship, the Xiaomi 14 series, featuring a square camera module in the upper left corner.

The screen frame control appears to be LCD-like, indicating it may be designed to complement larger and more powerful devices. Additionally, the tablet is expected to be powered by a full-fledged Snapdragon 8G2 chipset, possibly the overclocked 3.36GHz version.

It appears that the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro may come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Meanwhile, the Pad 7 could feature a Snapdragon 8-series chip, which might be from the 8 or 8+ Gen 1.

The Xiaomi Pad 6 series was announced along with the Xiaomi 13 Ultra in April this year. There have been reports that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will launch earlier than expected, with a possible announcement in Q1 2024. It is unclear whether the Pad 7 series will debut with 14 Ultra or separately.
