We have a piece of good news for those looking for an affordable mid-range Android tablet for themselves this month. Currently, Carphone Warehouse is offering the once elusive Amazon Kindle Fire for a bargain basement price of just £89 – without any contract commitment.

 

In case you’ve forgotten, the Kindle Fire runs on a 1.0GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512 MB of RAM. Other key specifications include a 7-inch 1024×600 display, a 8GB onboard storage and up to 9 hours of surfing time. Not a bad deal for it’s price isn’t it?  ( Even though it’s running on a seriously outdated Android 2.3 Gingerbread software )
