A Chinese leakster with Twitter account @mmddj_china who has been consistently leaking reliable information on upcoming smartphones from various brands had recently revealed that the upcoming 2018 Galaxy A series smartphones will be coming with Infinity Display. Today, the leakster has revealed the key specs of the 2018 Galaxy A7 and Galaxy A5 smartphones.
The 2017 Galaxy A7, A5 and A3 smartphones sported the same design but came different sized bodies and slightly different specs. The new tweet from the same leakster suggests that the Galaxy A7 (2018) and Galaxy A5 (2018) will be sporting the same design. Samsung had introduced the full-screen display dubbed as Infinity Display on Galaxy S8 duo. The full-screen design is also available on the newly launched Galaxy Note 8. The below image shows the Infinity Display design of the 2018 editions of Galaxy A7 and Galaxy A5.
The leakster has revealed that the screens of the both smartphones will be supporting 1080p resolution. These phones will be featuring rear-mounted fingerprint readers. The Snapdragon 660 chipset will be powering both phones. The Galaxy A5 (2018) will feature 4 GB of RAM whereas the Galaxy A7 (2018) may house 6 GB of RAM. The Galaxy A (2018) series phones will be equipped with dual selfie cameras.
