How to hard reset Nokia Lumia 525 tutorial

There are 2 ways in which you can do a hard reset on the Nokia Lumia 525 smartphone – either by going to a your device’s settings or using only the hardware keys. In this tutorial, we will be guiding you on how to hard reset Nokia Lumia 525.

 

But before we begin…

 

1. Please make sure you have at least 50% battery left on your Nokia Lumia 525.
2. Back up your Nokia Lumia 525.

 

Follow the steps below on how to hard reset Nokia Lumia 525 without the use of hardware keys :

 

1. Go to Settings.
2. Scroll down and tap about.
3. Scroll down and tap reset your phone.
4. On the warning screen tap yes.
5. Tap yes once again on the confirmation screen.
6. Your device will reboot and this will takes a few minutes.
7. Congratulations! You have just did a hard reset on your Nokia Lumia 525!

 

Follow the Steps below on how to hard reset Nokia Lumia 525 using only the hardware keys ( this method is useful if your device hang ):

 

1. Turn off the Nokia Lumia 525.
2. Press the Power key to turn on the device, then immediately press and hold the Volume Down key.
3. You will see an exclamation mark ( ! ) appearing on the screen.
4. Press the Volume Up button, followed by Volume Down button, followed by Power button and finally the Volume Down button again. ( Please follow the sequence, if not it will not work )
5. The device will restart automatically. This will take several minutes.
6. Congratulations! You have just did a hard reset on your Nokia Lumia 525!
