HTC U11 Life May Launch on November 2 as First Android One Oreo Smartphone

HTC has confirmed that it will be holding a launch event on Nov. 2. Speculations have it that the Taiwanese company will introduce HTC U11 Plus flagship phone at the upcoming launch event. Fresh information shared by well-known leakster Roland Quandt reveals that the company will be also announcing HTC U11 Life Android One phone alongside the U11 Plus. This Android One phone will be the first smartphone to run on Android Oreo.

The U11 Life phone will be running on stock edition of Android Oreo that will not feature Sense UI from HTC. The handset is expected to arrive with a 5.2-inch FHD display that will be sitting under the Gorilla Glass. The fingerprint scanner embedded Home button is placed on the chin of the device between the capacitive buttons.

The Snapdragon 630 chipset will be powering the U11 Life with 3 GB of RAM. It will be offering a native storage of 32 GB and will also feature a microSD card. it will be featuring a 16-megapixel rear camera that is enabled with features like HDR support, 4K video shooting, and more. It will be coming with a 16-megapixel front camera. Other features of the phone include high-resolution audio recording, IP67 certified body, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C port, and 2,600mAh battery. The handset won’t be featuring a 3.5mm audio jack. It will be priced under 400 euros and will come in colors like Blue Sapphire and Ice White.
