Huawei has officially announced the availability and pricing of their latest Ascend Mate2 4G phablet for the US market. Starting today, the Ascend Mate2 4G will be available for pre-order from GetHuawei for just $299, a new Huawei online store for the US market. Those who pre-order before June 22 will also be entitled to receive a free Huawei flip cover as well as a free SIM card.
In case you do not know, the Huawei Ascend Mate2 4G boast a 6.1-inch IPS display powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core chipset and 2GB of RAM. Its camera department consist of a 13MP camera at the back and a 5MP shooter at the front. Most importantly, it has a massive power supply thanks to a 3,990mAh battery at the rear.
Although the phablet currently runs on the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, an update to KitKat for the device is already in the schedule. Do share with if you’ll be interested in getting this 6.1-inch monster.
