The newly announced Huawei Mate 30 series had made a splash in the Chinese smartphone market – with more than one million units sold within the first 3 hours of it’s debut sale back in September.
Now, Huawei has finally opened the pre-orders for the 5G variants of the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro as well. Those who’re interested will have to make an initial down payment of 1,000 Yuan (US$141) to pre-order the device. After which, the device will go on sale in China starting November 1st.
As a quick recap, here is the pricing of the Mate 30 5G and Mate 30 Pro 5G in China:
Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G
- 8GB+256GB: 6,899 Yuan (US$968)
- 8GB+512GB: 7,899 Yuan (US$1108)
Huawei Mate 30 5G
- 8GB+128GB: 4,999 Yuan (US$701)
- 8GB+256GB: 5,499 Yuan (US$771)
Other than it’s additional support for 5G network (both SA and NSA modes), the 5G variants will be arriving with similar hardware and specs as the 4G variants. However unlike the latter, the 5G variants will comes with the exquisite Vegan Leather Orange and Vegan Leather Forest Green options which are not available to the 4G models.
