Huawei to unveil their Mate 7 phablet on September 4th

Earlier today, Huawei has finally released a teaser for their upcoming Mate 7 phablet which will be officially announced on September 4th during the IFA event in Berlin.

According to rumors, this phablet will rock a 6″ FHD display powered by a Huawei’s own octa-core Kirin 920 chipset along with a massive 3GB RAM onboard. Besides that, the phablet will also be equipped with a 13MP camera at the back, as well as a 5MP shooter at the front for selfies. Needless to say, the device will be running on the latest Emotion 3.0 UI on top of the Android 4.4 KitKat firmware.

I’m not sure whether it is true, but apparently our tipster has told us that the Mate 7 will be coming with a finger print sensor this time round – making it the first Huawei smartphone to support such feature.
