iQOO 10 Series Likely to Launch in July with Improved Design

A lot of details about the upcoming iQOO 10 series of smartphones are appearing on Weibo. Rumors are rife that the upcoming iQOO 10 and iQOO 10 Pro will be equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 mobile platform. A new leak by Digital Chat Station has revealed the launch timeline of the iQOO 10 lineup.

According to the tipster, the iQOO 10 is tentatively scheduled to launch in July in China. While some details of the Pro model have already surfaced in the recent leaks, the vanilla model is expected to offer a better gaming experience than its predecessor, the iQOO 9 Pro.

He added that the vanilla iQOO 10 will not be a significant upgrade over its previous generation. In the comments section of the Weibo post, he mentioned that the design would be one of the highlights of the iQOO 10 series.

Previous leaks have revealed that the iQOO 10 Pro will feature an AMOLED LTPO screen that delivers a Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a curved edge design and a centrally positioned punch-hole.

The iQOO 10 Pro will have a 50-megapixel main camera on the back. It may house a 4,500mAh battery that supports 200W fast charging and 65W wireless charging. For security, it may feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. The other details of the iQOO 10 duo are under wraps.

The iQOO 10 has a V2217A model number, whereas the Pro variant has a V2218A model number. Both devices are expected to surface on Chinese certification platforms 3C and TENAA in the coming days.
