iQOO 9 is now available in a new Phoenix Orange colorway in the global market

When iQOO unveiled the iQOO 9 smartphone in the global market earlier this year, the phone was introduced in two different colorways known as Alpha and Legend.

Now, the company is back with a third color dubbed as Pheonix Orange which features a frosted AG Glass that changes from White to Orange whenever it’s rear panel is exposed to UV light – a feature that’s obviously inspired by the recent Vivo V23 5G (Review).

Aside from the aesthetic differences, the phone shares a completely identical specs sheet as the rest of the color variants. As such, the phone will retain the same 6.56” AMOLED display which offers a FHD+ screen resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, as well as support for 10-bit color depth. As for selfie, it also has a 16 megapixels front-facing camera.

Coming to the imaging side of things, the iQOO 9 features a triple-cam setup comprising of a 48 megapixels main camera (w/ Gimbal-style stabilization), 13 megapixels ultra-wide unit, as well as a 13 megapixels portrait camera.

The phone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 888+ chipset which is paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB built-in storage in the memory department. To keep it’s lights on, it features 4,350mAh battery which supports a blazing-fast 120W charging speed.

In the Indian market, the iQOO 9 is priced starting at INR42,999 (US$577) for it’s 8GB+128GB, and goes up to INR46,999 (US$630) for it’s 12GB+256GB variant.
