iQOO is planning to launch the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 powered iQOO 10 series in July in China. However, 91mobiles recently revealed that India could be receiving the iQOO 9T with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 onboard in the same month. The publication has now published a report about the smartphone. It reveals that the device has bagged BIS certification in India. In addition, it has also leaked the key specifications of the device.
According to the publication, the iQOO phone with I2201, which has bagged BIS certification, is the upcoming iQOO 9T flagship phone. As usual, the BIS listing has no other information on the device’s specifications. As mentioned, the report has spilt a few details about the smartphone.
iQOO 9T specifications (rumored)
The iQOO 9T is rumored to house a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, which carries support for a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 powered smartphone is likely to arrive in two configurations: 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage.
There is no word on the camera configurations and battery capacity of the iQOO 9T. However, it is expected to carry support for a 120W fast charge. The report says that it will come in Black color. However, it is unclear whether it will have more color variants.
In related news, the iQOO 10 series for China is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Dimensity 9000+ chipsets. The iQOO 10 may support 120W fast charging, whereas the Pro model may arrive with support for 200W fast charging and 65W wireless charging.
