iQOO U5e debuts with MediaTek Dimensity 700, 13MP dual-cameras & 5,000mAh battery

iQOO has officially unveiled a new entry-level smartphone in the Chinese market known as the iQOO U5e which carries an affordable starting price of just 1,399 Yuan ($209) in the Chinese market.

The new model builds around a 6.51” IPS LCD display offering a HD+ screen resolution along with 60Hz refresh rate. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset which will be paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage in the memory department.

For photography, the phone features a dual-cam setup on the rear side housing a 13 megapixels main camera and a 2 megapixels depth sensor for portrait shots. To help with selfies, it also has an 8 megapixels front-facing camera tucked into a waterdrop-notch along the upper bezel.

To keep it’s lights on, the iQOO U5e is backed by a large 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. It will be shipped with OriginOS Ocean based on Android 12 OS out of the box.

Those who’re interested can pick the phone from two different colors such as Silver and Black. It will be priced at 1,399 Yuan ($209) and 1,499 Yuan ($224) respectively for it’s 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB variants.
