More than 200,000 Realme GT Neo had been sold in just 20 days

Earlier this month, Realme unleashed the Realme GT Neo smartphone in the Chinese market which made its name as the first smartphone in the world to be powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset.

Now, just twenty days after the phone went on sale in the Chinese market, the company had already sold more than 200,000 units of them within this short period of time – highlighting the device’s popularity in its home market.

Although the availability of this device is currently limited to the Chinese market, but that’s about to change soon as the device will be heading to the Indian market on May 4th under the rebranded Realme X7 Max moniker.

This device however, is expected to face stiff competition from the recently announced Redmi K40 Gaming Edition which is also powered by the same chipset, but comes with several unique gaming enhancement features like its retractable shoulder buttons that set the phone apart from others within the same price range.

As a quick recap, the Realme GT Neo sports a 6.43” FHD+ Super AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, Dimensity 1200 chipset, 64MP triple-camera setup, 16MP selfie camera, 4,500mAh battery, as well as 50W fast-charging support.
