Moto G8 Power Case Renders Appear; Launch Could be Nearing

The Moto G8 Plus and Moto G8 Play smartphones were announced in Brazil in October. The rumor mill has been speculating that the Lenovo-owned Motorola could be also working on Moto G8 Power smartphone. The handset is said to be codenamed as Sofia. The smartphone has recently bagged certification from the FCC regulatory body in the U.S. Case renders of the Moto G8 smartphone has appeared on Alibaba online retailer store to reveal its design.

The Moto G8 Power case renders show that the phone will be arriving with a punch-hole display. However, it may not come true as the phone is expected be slotted between Moto G8 Play and G8 Plus which indicates that it may sport the same display design as other G8 series phones. The rear side of the phone can be seen sporting a vertical quad camera setup with an LED flash alongside. The Motorola ‘M’ logo on the rear side of the device could be integrated with a fingerprint reader.

The FCC certification of the Moto G8 Power had revealed that its measures 157.9 x 75.8mm and it could be housing a 6.3-inch display. The phone could be backed by a 5,000mAh battery. Hopefully, the device may carry support for fast charging. The Android 10 OS will come preinstalled on the device. It could be driven by Snapdragon 665. There is no information available on the specs of the Moto G8 Power.
