Official: BLU G72 Max debuts with MediaTek Helio G37, 13MP triple cameras & 5,000mAh battery

American smartphone maker BLU had announced a new entry-level model dubbed as the BLU G72 Max smartphone that’s targeted towards the more budget conscious-consumers.

The latest model packs a 6.8” LCD display featuring a HD+ screen resolution along with a fast 90Hz refresh rate. Other than that, the phone also has an 8 megapixels front-facing camera that sits within a waterdrop-notch.

Coming to the rear side of the phone, there will be a triple-cam setup lead by a 13 megapixels main camera alongside a pair of auxiliary cameras. Speaking of the back, it’ll be offered in three different paintjobs such as Orange Mint and Gray.

Under the hood, the BLU G72 Max is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G37 chipset which will be paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card. To keep it’s lights on, there’s also a respectable 5,000mAh battery which doesn’t appears to support any form of fast-charging solution.

As far as software is concerned, the BLU G72 Max will be shipped with an older Android 12 OS out of the box. Sad to say, the official pricing and availability of the phone remains under the wrap at the moment but we’ll probably find out more about them in the coming weeks.
