Chinese smartphone maker Infinix has announced a new entry-level smartphone dubbed as the Infinix Smart 7 in the global market which will be succeeding the Smart 6 smartphone that was launched back in 2021.

The new Infinix Smart 7 comes with a 6.6” TFT display featuring a HD+ screen resolution along with 60Hz refresh rate. To help with selfies and video calls, the phone also has a 5 megapixels front-facing camera that’s situated within a waterdrop-notch along it’s upper bezel.

Over at the back, the phone features a rectangular-shaped camera module which houses a pair of cameras that include a 13 megapixels main camera which will be aided by an AI lens. Speaking of the back, it’s available in four different paintjobs such as Black, White, Blue and Green.

Under the hood, the Infinix Smart 7 is powered by an unspecified octa chipset which will be paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage which supports further expansion via a microSD card. Keeping it’s lights on is a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 10W wired charging support.

As far as software is concerned, the Infinix Smart 7 will be shipped with a slightly older Android 12 OS out of the box. Sad to say, the company has yet to announce the official pricing and availability of the phone at the time of writing.
