OPPO A16K is a new entry-level smartphone with MediaTek Helio G35 chipset

Earlier this year, OPPO had announced the OPPO A16 and A16s smartphones in the Asian markets. Now, the company` has launched yet another variant known as the OPPO A16K in the Philippines where the phone carries an affordable starting price of just 6,999 Peso (US$139).

The newly announced OPPO A16K features a 6.52” IPS LCD display which boasts a HD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, as well as a 5 megapixels front-facing camera that handles selfie and video calls.

On the rear side, the OPPO A16K has a square-shaped camera module which is home to a single 8 megapixels wide camera and a LED flash to help with low-light photography.

Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 chipset which is paired with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.

To keep it’s lights on, the phone is backed by a 4,230mAh battery with which doesn’t supports any fast-charging solution. On the software side, the OPPO A16K will boot on ColorOS 11.1 Lite based on Android 11 out of the box.
