OPPO A57 5G debuts with MediaTek Dimensity 810, 13MP triple cameras & 5,000mAh battery

OPPO has officially announced a new A series smartphone in it’s domestic market known as the OPPO A57 5G which carries an affordable starting price of just 1,499 Yuan (US$235).

The new OPPO A57 5G builds around a 6.56” LCD display which features a HD+ screen resolution as well as a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. On top of that, it also has an 8 megapixels front-facing camera to help with selfies and video calls.

On the imaging front, the OPPO A57 5G is equipped with a modest dual-cam setup which includes a 13 megapixels main camera along with a 2 megapixels depth sensor for portraits.

The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset which will be coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.

Other than that, the OPPO A57 5G also features a respectable 5,000mAh battery (10W charging), side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12 OS.

For those who’re interested, the device is offered in a trio of colors such as black, lilac, and blue. In the Chinese market, the OPPO A57 5G is priced at 1,499 Yuan (US$235) for it’s 8GB+128GB trim.
