The OPPO F3 was unveiled in May this year and the Chinese firm looks all set to debut its successor, the OPPO F5 in this month. Speculations have it that it would be launched on Oct. 26 in Philippines. Recent rumors have revealed that it would be coming with a full-screen design. A video of the OPPO F5 has appeared to reveal its full-screen design which suggests that it would be sporting an 18:9 display.

The OPPO F3 came with a front-facing fingerprint scanner. However, the video of the OPPO F5 shows that its display occupies the major space of the front panel. Hence, the biometric recognition feature is placed on the backside of the OPPO F5. The other specifications of the smartphone are not known.
It seems that the company will be skipping the number 4 on its moniker. Hence, it will not be launching OPPO F4 as the successor phone for the OPPO F3. Many Chinese manufacturers prefer to skip the number 4 in the names of their devices as it is considered as a bad omen. For instance, OnePlus decided to skip OnePlus 4 after the launch of OnePlus 3 and 3T. Instead of OP4, it had launched OnePlus 5 this year.
