A Realme phone with model number RMX3357 was certified by China’s TENAA authority last month. The same device has now bagged approval from the CMIIT authority of the country. According to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, the RMX3357 will be launching with the Realme GT Neo 2T moniker.
Even Realme China’s CMO Xu Qi has hinted at the existence of a new GT Neo 2 series phone. His Weibo post suggests that the Neo 2 lineup includes two flagship phones. The first one is the Snapdragon 870 SoC powered GT Neo 2 that debuted last month in China. It seems that the other GT Neo 2 series flagship phone could be the GT Neo 2T handset.
The TENAA listing of the alleged GT Neo 2T revealed that it has a 6.43-inch AMOLED panel with a punch-hole design. It offers a Full HD+ resolution and is likely to carry support for a high refresh rate. It is said to be equipped with Dimensity 1200 chipset. It is backed by a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery, which seemingly supports 65W fast charging.
In China, the company may release the GT Neo 2T in 8 GB / 12 GB RAM variants and 128 GB / 256 GB storage editions. The handset will come preinstalled with Android 11 OS. It will feature a front camera of 16-megapixel and a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera unit.
Recently, Realme’s Vice President for China Wan Wei Derek confirmed that the company will be launching the Realme Q3s with Snapdragon 778G SoC in October. Hence, it appears that the GT Neo 2T and Q3s may get announced together.
