Even before the official unveiling of Redmi Go Android Go smartphone, a Philippine-based retailer has listed it along with its key specifications. The listing is no longer available but the entire specifications of the Redmi Go has surfaced along with its renders.
The above render shows the unannounced Redmi Go phone with thick bezels around the display. It features a 5-inch LCD display that supports HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and 16:9 aspect ratio.
The Snapdragon 425 SoC powers the phone along with 1 GB of RAM. It comes with an inbuilt storage of 8 GB. The smartphone comes with a microSD card slot for additional storage. For photography, it will be featuring an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. It is packed with a 3,000mAh battery. The smartphone is preloaded with Android Go edition of the Android 8.1 Oreo OS.
The handset supports dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and microUSB 2.0. As the render shows, the Redmi Go will be available in Black and Blue colors. The pricing of the phone is not known yet. There is no information available on the launch date of the Redmi Go smartphone.
