When the Nexus 7 was first launched during July this year, only approximately 500k units were being shipped each month. However during October, Asus begin to see a suddenly spike in the number of Nexus 7 that have been ordered and shipped each day, such that nearly 1 million units were shipped during that month itself.
According to DigiTimes, Taiwan-based supply chains had estimated that over 5 million units of Nexus 7 will be shipped by the end of this year alone. If this estimation is accurate, then more than 1 million units will be shipped during this month as well as December.
