Samsung Galaxy Note 9 allegedly codenamed ‘Crown’ according to report

Even though the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is barely 3 months old, but reports out of Korea had revealed that the company had already begun embarking on their next-generation Galaxy Note 9 phablet which had been codenamed ‘Crown’.

“We will start providing components for a pilot production (of the Galaxy Note 9) in the first quarter next year”.

According to the same report, a Samsung component supplier close to the source had confirmed that the Korean company will be obtaining hardware components from them to develop an early prototype of the Galaxy Note 9 in early 2018.

Of course, whether the next big thing will indeed be called the Galaxy Note 9 remains a mystery as well. Who knows, it may be called the Galaxy Note X instead. But whatever it is, its definitely good to have an affirmation about the existence of the Galaxy Note 8 successor given the huge fan base it has out there.
