After teasing the arrival of the Meizu 21 for the past few days in China, Meizu has finally confirmed its launch date. The brand revealed that it will hold a launch event at 2:30 pm (local time) on Nov. 28 to unveil the Meizu 21. While there is no official confirmation yet, it appears that the Meizu 21 Pro may also debut alongside the standard model.

Meizu 21 series launch date

So far, Meizu has confirmed that the Meizu 21 has a 6.55-inch Samsung AMOLED display, which probably supports a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

Rumors surrounding the device suggest that it will have an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel primary camera, an ultra-wide snapper, and a telephoto camera. The device is expected to run on Flyme UI-based Android 14. It is expected to pack a 4,800mAh battery that supports 80W charging.

The Meizu 21 Pro is expected to arrive as a larger version of the Meizu 21. Hence, it is likely to be equipped with a larger display and pack a 5,020mAh battery with 80W charging. Like the standard model, the Pro variant will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The camera setup of the Pro model is expected to feature a high-end telephoto camera, perhaps a periscope zoom snapper.

According to recent leaks, the Meizu 21 is likely to be priced at around 3,999 Yuan ($555). This indicates that the device will compete with the likes of the Xiaomi 14, the Vivo X100, and the iQOO 12 in the Chinese market. At present, the Meizu smartphones are not available outside of China. Hence, it is unclear whether the brand has any plans to release the Meizu 21 series in other markets.
