Tutorial : How to remove Samsung Galaxy S4 lock screen message

If you find it an eye sore to have the Samsung Galaxy S4 tag line “Life companion” on the lock screen, then you’re not alone. Apparently, it is rather simple to have the tag line vanish from the lock screen – and you can even get it done in less than 5 minutes. There are 2 methods to remove the tagline :

 

1. Go to Settings > My Device > Lock Screen > Lock Screen Widgets to manually customize the lock sceen for your Samsung Galaxy S4.
2. Tap on to the “Life companion” tag line for a moment, and then drag it down a little and you should see an edit button at the button right of the widget. Tap on the edit button to change the tagline or even remove it if you wish to.
