Vivo Y33 debuts with MediaTek Helio G80, 48MP triple-cameras & 18W fast-charging

After launching the Vivo Y33T smartphone last week, Vivo is now back with a new model known as the Vivo Y33 which had been quietly announced in the Mexican market with starting price of around 6,300 MXN (US$308).

The Vivo Y33 features a 6.58” IPS LCD display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution and a standard refresh rate of 60Hz. Other than that, there’s also a 16 megapixels front-facing camera to handle selfies and video calls on the device.

On the rear side, the phone comes with an elongated camera module which is home to a triple-camera setup comprising of a 48 megapixels main camera, 2 megapixels depth sensor, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera for close-up photography.

Under the hood, the Vivo Y33 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 chipset which is paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.

To keep the phone running through the day, the Vivo Y33 is backed by a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. In terms of software, it’ll be shipped with FuntouchOS 11.1 based on Android 11 out of the box.
