Nepal: Vivo Y55 4G debuts with Snapdragon 680, 50MP triple cameras & 44W fast-charging

Following the launch of the Vivo Y55 5G smartphone at the beginning of the year, Vivo is now back with a new 4G variant of the phone in the Nepalese market where the phone carries an affordable launch price of just Rs.33,999 ($271).

The new Vivo Y55 4G builds around a 6.44” AMOLED display which offers a FHD+ screen resolution alongside a standard refresh rate of 60Hz. To help with selfies, there’s also a 16 megapixels front-facing camera housed within a waterdrop-notch.

Over on the flipside, it sports a rectangular camera module which houses a triple camera array comprising of a 50 megapixels main camera as well as a pair of 2 megapixels cameras for macro and depth information.

Under the hood, the Vivo Y55 4G is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 680 chipset which will be coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage in the memory department. As usual, the phone will also boot on the latest FuntouchOS 12 based on Android 12 OS out of the box.

To keep it’s lights on, the Vivo Y55 4G is equipped with a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast-charging support. Those who’re interested can pick the phone in two different colorways such as Black and Snow White.
