Xiaomi had sold more than 30 million Redmi Note 8 series smartphones

Last week, the highly anticipated Redmi Note 9 and Note 9 Pro finally made their official debut in the global market. Today, the company has shared some good news about the sales performance of last year’s Redmi Note 8 series smartphones.

According to Xiaomi, the company had already sold over 30 million Redmi Note 8 series smartphones globally. This came five months after the company recorded its first 10 million sales mark back in December last year.

This impressive sales performance doesn’t really came as a surprise at all. For the past couple of months, the Redmi Note 8 Pro has been the best performing mid-ranger smartphone on AnTuTu. The device is also one of the most value for money smartphone in terms of price-to-performance ratio as well.

It remains to be seen whether the newly announced Redmi Note 9 series will be able to achieve the same level of success as its predecessor. However, the initial sales performance of the Redmi Note 9 Pro seems promising after being sold out within minutes during its debut sale.
