Xiaomi had already confirmed earlier this week that the company will be holding a major launch event on August 10th, where it is expected to announced the next-generation’s Mi Mix 4 flagship phone.
However, besides the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4, the company has confirmed today that it will also be unveiling the long-rumored, Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 which we’d been hearing for quite some time.
According to the teaser released by Xiaomi, the upcoming Mi Pad 5 will be carrying support for an external stylus, which we believe is likely to be the Xiaomi Smart Pen which was recently spotted on FCC’s database bearing the model number M2107K81PC.
Although there isn’t much information pertaining to the Mi Pad 5 at the moment, but past reports have suggested that the forthcoming Mi Pad 5 will be available in three different models.
Specs-wise, the top two variants are expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 870 chipset, while the toned-down Wi-Fi only variant is said to be fueled by a Snapdragon 860 chip instead.
Similarly, all three slates will reportedly shares the same 10.9” IPS LCD that offers FHD+ screen resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, as well as 240Hz touch sampling rate.
