Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 receives price cut in China

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 which was announced back in January this year has received its first-ever price cut in China today.

The base model will receive a RMB100 (~$15) price cut which brings its price down to RMB799, while the higher-end 3GB+32GB model will receive a RMB150 discount which brought it down to just RMB999. Given that the Redmi Note 4 has been selling like hot cakes since its launch, Xiaomi is probably trying hard to clear their remaining Note 3 stocks.

Even though the price cut isn’t really significant, but its better than nothing after all.
