AnTuTu announces top 10 smartphones under 1,499 Yuan (US$211) for the month of March

Besides releasing the list of top 10 best performing flagship phones for the month of March, AnTuTu also released the list of top 10 smartphones with the best performance-price ratio for smartphones under 1,499 Yuan (US$211).

These devices are ranked according to the performance-price ratio which is basically calculated by diving the device’s AnTuTu benchmark score against it’s official pricing in China. Surely, there are some who remain doubtful regarding the credibility of the benchmark scores, but it still serves as a pretty good reference over the years.

In this price segment, the Honor 9X (China variant) continues to top the list with the highest performance-price ratio. This device is driven by the Kirin 810 SoC alongside 4GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage space. It is priced competitively at just 1,199 Yuan (US$169/ INR12,900) in the Chinese market.

Sitting in the second and third positions are Redmi Note 8 Pro and Realme Q (Realme 5 Pro). The price competitiveness of these device not only make them popular in the Chinese market, but also various global markets including India. In China, both the Redmi Note 8 Pro and Realme Q are priced at 1,199 Yuan (US$169/ INR12,900) and 999 Yuan (US$141/ INR10,760) respectively.

Finally, in the forth to tenth positions, we have the Huawei Nova 5z. Meizu X8, Redmi Note 8, Meizu 16X, Vivo Z5x, Vivo Z5, as well as Huawei Enjoy 10 Plus.

It is obvious that the majority of the top 10 positions were occupied by smartphones from Honor, Huawei, RedmiMeizu, Vivo and Realme. As usual, these companies have a good track record of releasing budget friendly smartphones that do not compromise any bit of performance for it’s users.
