AnTuTu: Black Shark 5 Pro remains as the best-performing flagship phone for the month of May

Another month had passed and AnTuTu is now back again with the list of top 10 best performing flagship phones for the month of May. This time round, there any significant changes to the top six devices due to the lack of flagship launches over the past one month.

As usual, the data source of this ranking was culminated from AnTuTu Benchmark V9 from May 1st to 31st. It’s worth noting that the average score was calculated from more than 1,000 devices, and may continue to change as more devices are being benchmarked.

AnTuTu Top 10 Best Performing Flagship Phones for May 2022

For the month of May, the Black Shark 5 Pro smartphone retain the top position as the best-performing flagship phone with an impressive score of 1,048,179 points. The Black Shark 5 Pro, like most other devices in the top 10 list, is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset under the hood.

According to AnTuTu, the high score attained by the Black Shark 5 Pro is largely attributed to the implementation of the SSD array system which allows the device to deliver blazing-fast read and write operations. It is therefore not surprising that the Black Shark 5 Pro attained the highest score in the MEM department that’s unmatched by any other devices.

As for the third to tenth positions, they are dominated by the Lenovo Legion Y90, Vivo X80, iQOO 9, iQOO 9 Pro, Vivo X80 Pro (Dinensity 9000), Vivo X Note, Vivo X80 Pro (Snapdragon 8 Gen 1), as well as Motorola Edge X30.

For the month of June, we don’t expect to see much changes to the list of top 10 best-performing smartphones since there won’t be any upcoming high-end models this month (at least from what we know at the moment).
