Black Shark 4, 4 Pro Launch Imminent as Black Shark 3S Gets Sold Out

Black Shark CEO Luo Yuzhou took to Weibo today to reveal that the Black Shark 4 will be launching as the predecessor Black Shark 3S has gone out of stock. Yuzhou’s post indicates that the Black Shark 4 series of smartphones may go official before the end of this month.

The Black Shark 3S was announced back in July 2020 in China and later made available in global markets. As can be seen in the screengrab below, Yuzhou seems to be saying that the Black Shark 4 series with stronger specs will arrive soon. Probably, the company will confirm its launch date in the next few days.

The Black Shark 4 series reportedly includes two smartphones such as the Snapdragon 870 powered Black Shark 4 and the more powerful Black Shark 4 Pro with Snapdragon 888. Both smartphones to arrive with a 4,5000mAh battery with 120W rapid charging support.

Black Shark 4 is coming soon

While last year’s Black Shark 3S and Black Shark 3 supported FHD+ resolution, the Black Shark 3 Pro offered QHD+ resolution. Recent reports have claimed that Black Shark 4 and 4 Pro are may house a 6.67-inch display with FHD+ resolution support. These devices are expected to come preloaded with Android 11 OS.

The Black Shark 4 series is likely to arrive with LPPDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1. and support for a high refresh rate. The images of the Black Shark 4 that were spotted at TENAA suggested that it will be coming with a pair of gaming trigger buttons and a horizontal camera module.

The Black Shar 4 and Black Shark 4 Pro gaming smartphones are likely to get a global release a few weeks after it lands in China.
