Yesterday, Black Shark released the first teaser of the upcoming Black Shark 4 smartphone. While the teaser confirmed a few specs of the handset, the company also shared a screenshot of its AnTuTu listing to reveal what sort of performance it will offer. The gaming-focused phone has managed to record the highest score on AnTuTu benchmarks.
The iQOO 7 smartphone which went official yesterday was seen at AnTuTu with a score of 752K+ at the end of 2020. An OPPO phone with model number PEEM000 at AnTuTu last week with a higher score of 771K+. While the identity of the PEEM00 OPPO phone is yet to be revealed, it is speculated that it could be the Find X3 or Find X3 Pro smartphone.
As can be seen in the screenshot shared by Black Shark, a new device that has a model number of KSR-A0 shattered the AnTuTu records by scoring 788,505. The model number belongs to the upcoming Black Shark 4 smartphone. Unfortunately, the listing has no information on the specs of the device. While the company is yet to release an official confirmation, it is evident that the device is driven by the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform.
The Chinese brand revealed yesterday that the Black Shark 4 is backed by a 4,500mAh battery and it carries support for 120W charging. The ultrafast charging technology will be able to charge the Black Shark 4 completely in around 15 minutes.
Since the company has already started revealing the key specs of the Black Shark 4, it may go official in the coming month. Last year, it announced the Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro in early March. Hence, it appears that the company could be launching the Black Shark 4 around a month earlier than its predecessor. As of now, it is unclear whether the vanilla Black Shark 4 will be accompanied by a Pro model.
