Black Shark 5 Pro is now the new king of AnTuTu

Another month had passed and AnTuTu is now back again with the list of top 10 best performing flagship phones for the month of April. This time round, we did see some notable changes to the list of top 10 flagship devices with new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1-powered smartphones making their appearance in the top 10 chart.

As usual, the data source of this ranking was culminated from AnTuTu Benchmark V9 from Apr 1st to 30th. It’s worth noting that the average score was calculated from more than 1,000 devices, and may continue to change as more devices are being benchmarked.

AnTuTu Top 10 Best Performing Flagship Phones for April 2022

For the month of April, the newly announced Black Shark 5 Pro was crowned as the best-performing flagship model after achieving a whopping score of 1,062,747 points for it’s top-of-the-line model with 16GB+512GB configuration.

According to AnTuTu, the high score attained by the Black Shark 5 Pro is largely attributed to the implementation of the SSD array system which allows the device to deliver blazing-fast read and write operations. It is therefore not surprising that the Black Shark 5 Pro attained the highest score in the MEM department that’s unmatched by any other devices.

Coming to the second position, we have the iQOO 7 Pro which was the best-performing flagship model for the month of March. Sitting behind the iQOO 7 Pro is none other than the new Lenovo Legion Y90 gaming flagship.

As for the third to tenth positions, they are dominated by the Vivo X80 (the only smartphone with MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset in the top 10 position), iQOO 9, iQOO 9 Pro, Vivo X Note, iQOO Neo6, Xiaomi 12 Pro (Review), as well as the Realme GT2 Pro.

For the month of May, we might see further changes to the top 10 positions especially with the upcoming launch of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1-powered ZTE Axon 40 Ultra flagship.
