Last year, Xiaomi had introduced its gaming-centric sub-brand Black Shark by launching the first BlackShark smartphone in April. The next phone from the brand was called Black Shark Helo that arrived by October last year. Recent reports have revealed that the company is now gearing up to launch its next Black Shark. It appears that its launch is not far away since it has bagged 3C approval in China.
A Black Shark device with model number SKW-A0 has been approved by 3C. The listing reveals that the MDY-10-EH charger that will come along with carries support for up 27W fast charging. The Xiaomi Mi 9 that went officially recently also carries support for 27W rapid charging. According to a Chinese tipster on Weibo, the upcoming Black Shark phone will be powered by Snapdragon 855 chipset and 12 GB of RAM. He has claimed that the phone will come with some new features including Game Turbo. He added that the device is equipped with a reduced chin of around 5mm.
At the beginning of this year, a phone named Black Shark Skywalker with Snapdragon 855 and 8 GB of RAM was spotted on Geekbench. Earlier this month, Xiaomi Product Director Wang Teng Thomas had claimed that the next Black Shark phone is well-designed and loaded with exciting features.
