Blackview A95 debuts with an iPhone 13-inspired rear design

Budget smartphone maker Blackview has announced a new entry-level smartphone known as the Blackview A95 in the global market. On the outside, it’s apparent that this model is heavily inspired by the iPhone 13 series smartphones, especially with the familiar flat frames design as well as it’s rear camera housing.

Starting with the front side of the phone, the Blackview A95 features a 6.5” IPS LCD display that offers a HD+ screen resolution along with a standard refresh rate of 60Hz. To help with selfie and video call, it also comes with a decent 8 megapixels front-facing camera housed within it’s waterdrop-notch.

At the back, the phone boasts a square-shaped camera bump which is home to a single 20 megapixels Sony IMX376 camera that’s aided by a LED flash for low-light photography. The phone doesn’t has a fingerprint scanner at the back as the phone adopts a side-mounted one instead.

Under the hood, the Blackview A95 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 chipset which will be paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.

To keep it’s lights on, the Blackview A95 is backed by a respectable 4,380mAh battery that brings support for 18W fast-charging. On the software-side, it’ll also shipped with Android 11 OS out of the box.

For those who’re interested, the Blackview A95 is available in a trio of colors such as Summer Ocean Blue, Aurora Night Black, and Fantasy Galaxy Rainbow. In the global market, the phone will be priced at US$209.99 for it’s single 8GB+128GB trim.
