China Scheduled To Receive Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Soon

Last week, Xiaomi announced the Redmi Note 5 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro in India and just yesterday, the first three million units of these smartphones sold out in less than three minutes. Now, there is some information regarding the release of Pro version in China. Xiaomi mobile marketing director took to his official Weibo handle to announce that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro will be released in China soon, however, his idea of “soon” cannot be ascertained. Nevertheless, it appears that there will be some substantial changes to the camera design of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro.

As a reminder, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 636 chip coupled with 4/6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It is equipped with a 5.99-inch Full HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a display resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixel and a 77.4% screen-to-body ratio. In the camera department, it sports a 12+5MP rear camera and a huge 20MP front camera. The lights of this smartphone are kept on by a 4000mAh battery. The 4+64GB variant is currently priced at 13999 rupees ($216), while the 6+64GB goes for 16999 rupees ($262).

As for its counterpart, Redmi Note 5, it ships with a Snapdragon 625 chip coupled with 3/4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal storage. It is equipped with the same display as the Pro version. In the camera department, it sports a 12MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. As of now, there is no information regarding the release of the Note 5 in China.
