Chinese smartphone maker CoolPad has announced a new budget-centric smartphone known as the CoolPad Cool 20 in the Chinese market at an affordable starting price of just 699 Yuan (US$109).
For starter, the CoolPad Cool 20 brings along a 6.5” TFT LCD display that offers a HD+ screen resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. It also comes with a dewdrop-notch upfront that houses a 5 megapixels selfie camera.
On the flip-side, the CoolPad Cool 20 sports a rectangular camera module which is home to a dual-camera setup which is assisted by a LED flash. These cameras include a 48 megapixels main camera as well as an auxiliary camera to help with portrait shots.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 chipset which will be coupled with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage in the memory department.
Finally, the device is also fitted with a massive 4,500mAh battery that’s capable of supporting long hours on the go. On the software-side, it runs on the company’s proprietary CoolOS atop an unspecified Android version.
For those who’re interested, the CoolPad Cool 20 is priced at 699 Yuan (US$109), 899 Yuan (US$140) and 1,099 Yuan (US$172) respectively for it’s 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB variants.
