Coolpad Legacy 5G Phone with Snapdragon 765G and Under $400 Announced

Coolpad has unleashed the Coolpad Legacy 5G smartphone at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2020 tech event in the U.S. It is a budget-friendly 5G smartphone that is fueled by Snapdragon 765 mobile platform. The handset carries an attractive price tag of under $400.

Coolpad Legacy 5G Specifications and Features

The Coolpad Legacy 5G, the first 5G smartphone from the company is fitted with a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with waterdrop notch. The HDR10 complaint display offers full HD+ resolution. The rear shell of the smartphone is made out of glass.

The Snapdragon 765 mobile platform powers the smartphone along with 4 GB of RAM. It has an UFS 2.1 internal storage of 64 GB. A microSD card slot is available on the device for expanding its storage.

The Legacy 5G is loaded with Android 10 and the company’s custom UI. The phone receives the power to perform from a big battery of 4,000mAh capacity that carries support for 18W fast charging through USB-C.

The rear panel of the Coolpad Legacy 5G has a dual camera setup. It has a main lens of 48-megapixel and an 8-megapixel depth sensor. It is followed by an LED flash and a fingerprint reader. It has a front-facing camera of 16-megapixel. The other features of the smartphone include face unlock, dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, dual frequency GNSS and 3.5mm audio jack.

Retail outlets across the U.S. will begin with the sales of the Coolpad Legacy 5G in the second quarter of this year. It will be available through Amazon in the U.S.
