If you can still remember, we recently reported that a new Fresh Green Oppo R9S is expected to go on sale soon. True as it is, the Chinese manufacturer had confirmed earlier today that the new variant will be up for grabs in China on April 1st this week.
Currently, the Oppo R9S is available in 4 colors namely Black, Gold, Rose Gold, as well as Red. The company’s decision to release a new color option probably lies with the success of the Red variant, which was released just in time during the lunar festive season making it one of the best selling handset for the month.
That being said, there have already been rumors around Chinese Weibo that the Chinese company is currently prepping the upcoming Oppo R11 flagship which will be featuring a dual-camera setup at the back this time round. Whatever it is, let’s hope that the Fresh Green version will not end up as an April Fool’s joke.
