After several months of anticipation, Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge launch date has finally been confirmed. Well-known leaker Evan Blass has shared an image teasing the potential unveiling of the ultra-thin device. The teaser, written in Italian, suggests a May 13 launch date, which aligns with earlier reports from Korean sources.

According to the leaked promotional image, Samsung may hold a dedicated Unpacked event on May 13, 2025, in South Korea to unveil the Galaxy S25 Edge. The marketing material includes the phrase “Beyond Slim,” hinting at the phone’s design-focused approach.
This latest detail lines up with a previous report from South Korea that indicated a three-stage rollout: initial launch in Korea on May 13, followed by availability in China and Korea on May 23, and a global release including the US on May 30.

The S25 Edge has drawn attention for its ultra-thin form factor, measuring just 5.8mm in thickness. The device is expected to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. For selfies, it will feature a 12-megapixel front camera and a 200-megapixel (main, OIS) + 12-megapixel (ultra-wide) dual-camera system.
The S25 Edge is expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip. It will feature a 3,900mAh battery with 25W wired and 15W wireless charging support. The device will ship with One UI 7-based Android 15.
As per a recent report, the 256GB variant of the Galaxy S25 Edge may be priced at CAD 1,679 ($1,217), and the 512GB version at CAD 1,859 ($1,347). Colour options are said to include Silver, Icy Blue, and Black, possibly with a Titanium finish
