Realme recently introduced the Realme GT 7 in China, featuring the Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset. Rumors suggest that the Realme Neo 7 Pro, powered by the Dimensity 9400e, could launch in the domestic market later this month. Towards the end of the year, the brand is also expected to unveil the Realme GT 8 Pro, which will likely come equipped with the next-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. Now, a new leak from tipster Digital Chat Station indicates that the GT 8 Pro may arrive with a higher price tag.
Realme GT 8 Pro with premium specs to command higher price tag

DCS has hinted that the upcoming Realme GT 8 Pro may aim for a higher positioning in the market, noting clear improvements across display, performance, and imaging capabilities. He describes these upgrades as significant leaps over previous generations, suggesting that Realme is pushing the device into a more premium space.
In response to another user who remarked that “higher positioning” usually implies a price hike, Digital Chat Station confirmed that the Realme GT 8 Pro will “most likely” be priced higher than its predecessor, the Realme GT 7 Pro, which debuted in November 2024. However, he added that the exact price difference remains uncertain at this point.
To recall, the GT 7 Pro was introduced with a price tag of 3,599 ($500) for the 12GB+256GB variant. There’s a possibility that the GT 8 Pro’s base model could be priced at 3,999 Yuan ($550).
