Google has confirmed that it will be holding a launch event on Oct. 9 to announce the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones. Apart from launching the new Pixel phones, the search engine tech giant is also rumored to debut Chrome OS powered tablet that is codenamed as Nocturne. The device is expected to arrive as laptop-tablet hybrid.The new images of the Google Nocturne tablet suggest that it will be featuring pogo pins to attach a keyboard. The tablet appears very thin and it is rumored to be equipped with USB-C port which is not visible in the leaked images.
The keyboard dock features well-spaced keys and a large-sized trackpad. In the above, the edge of the device features a regressed power button that seems to double as a fingerprint scanner. As of this writing, there is no information available on the configurations of the device. Also, the exact product name of the device is also not available yet.
As far as the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL devices are concerned, both phones are expected to feature Snapdragon 845, 4 GB of RAM, dual front-facing speakers and dual selfie cameras. The Google Pixel 3 is expected to feature 18:9 aspect ratio screen of 5.4 inches that will carry support for Full HD+ resolution. On the other side, the Pixel 3 XL is tipped to feature a massive 6.7-inch notched display that will offer 19:9 aspect ratio and QHD+ resolution.
