Google is expected to unleash the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL smartphones in October to succeed the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones from last year. So far, the rumor mill has only revealed few details on the specs of the Pixel 4 duo. A fresh report from 9to5 Google carries juicy details on the specifications of the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL phones.
According to the publication, the Pixel 4 has a 5.7-inch OLED display with full HD+ resolution whereas Pixel 4 XL will be a larger device with 6.3-inch OLED display that produces quad HD+ resolution. Both displays will offer a refresh rate of 90Hz. Google may market the display as ‘Smooth Display.’ These handsets will feature a thick-sized top bezel that will include necessary sensors for 3D face unlock, a speaker and a Soli radar for using phone through gestures without touching the display.
The Snapdragon 855 chipset along with 6 GB of RAM will power the 64 GB and 128 GB storage editions of Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL smartphones. The Pixel 4 will sport a 2,800mAh battery whereas the Pixel 4 XL will house a 3,700mAh battery.
The Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will feature dual camera setup on the rear with a 12-megapixel primary lens and a 16-meapixel telephoto lens. Google may sell an optional DSLR-like attachment for the Pixel 4 series. The other features of the Pixel 4 duo include stereo speakers, Titan M security chip, Android Q OS and exclusives features for Google Assistant.
