Google is reportedly working on the Google Pixel 5a mid-range phone and Pixel 6 series of smartphones. According to a tipster, the search engine giant may launch the Pixel 5a in June. In addition, 9to5Google has shared a few pieces of information about the Pixel 6 smartphone.
Known leakster Jon Prosser that a source has confirmed to him that the Google Pixel 5a will break cover on June 11. Last year, the Pixel 4a was speculated to debut in May, but its arrival was reportedly delayed continuously. Finally, it was announced in August. It remains to be seen whether the Pixel 5a debuts on the said date.
9to5Google reported that decompiling an uploaded by Google at the Play Store revealed key information about the front cameras of the Pixel 5a and Pixel 6 smartphones. It has been found that the Pixel 5a could be featuring a punch-hole display like the predecessor model. However, the size of the selfie camera hole may get reduced.
To be precise, the Pixel 5a’s punch-hole will be of 55 pixel radius instead of 65 pixel found on the predecessor model. The size and shape of the Pixel 5a is expected to be almost identical to the Pixel 4a 5G.
The codenames Oriole and Raven are said to be associated with the Pixel 6 models. The Oriole handset may launch as the Pixel 6. Fresh information reveals that the device could be equipped with a top-centered punch-hole like the Pixel 5a. The size of the punch-hole could be downsized. The publication further mentioned that the Pixel 6’s front camera may support 4K video recording.
