Google is expected to announce the Google Pixel 8 series of smartphones in early October. So far, the rumor mill has revealed almost everything about the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. In the image above, the Pixel 8 Pro can be seen in the Porcelain White version. The appearance of the phone matches its leaked renders exactly. Reports have claimed that the device will also come in two other shades, such as Sky and Licorice.

As far as design is concerned, the image only showcases the rear side of the phone. As can be seen, it has a Google logo at the centre, and above it is a horizontal bar that tapers at the edges. It is fitted with three cameras, an LED flash unit, and an FIR thermometer.

According to reports, the FIR thermometer can be used to measure body temperature without touching the body surface. The leaks claim that it can also be used to measure the temperature of objects.

The Pixel 8 Pro is expected to feature a 6.7-inch OLED panel that offers a Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will run on Android 14 and come with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The Tenso G3-powered device is expected to feature 12 GB of RAM, up to 1 TB of storage, and a 4,950mAh battery with 27W fast charging. It is also expected to support 20W wireless charging. For photography, it will feature a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 64-megapixel telephoto camera on the back, and an 11-megapixel front camera.
