Google Pixel 8 series configurations, colour variants leaked

In October, Google may unveil the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro as the successors to the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, which were announced in the same month last year. In a new leak, WInfuture.de has published key details about the configurations and color variants of the Pixel 8 lineup.

According to the report, the Google Pixel 8 will arrive in two storage versions, such as 128 GB and 256 GB. It will be available in three color varaints like Licorice, Peony, and Haze.

As per previous leaks, the Pixel 8 will come with a 6.17-inch OLED display that offers an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. On the back, it will have a 50-megapixel Samsung GN2 main camera with OIS support and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens. It will pack a 4,485mAh battery that will support 24W wired charging and 12W wireless charging.

The new report states that the Pixel 8 Pro will be offered in 128 GB / 256 GB / 512 GB storage variants and colors options, such as Licorice, Porcelain, and Sky. The report does not have concrete information about the prices of the Pixel 8 duo, but it claims it will be costlier than the Pixel 7 lineup.

According to the known specs of the Pixel 8 Pro, it will arrive with a 6.7-inch OLED panel that produces a Quad HD+ resolution of 1344 x 2992 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The rear panel of the phone will feature a 50-megapixel (Samsung GN2, with OIS) + 64-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 48-megapixel (telephoto) triple camera unit. The Pixel 8 Pro is expected to house a 4,950mAh battery with 27W wired and 12W wireless charging.

The Pixel 8 and 8 Pro will run on Android 14 OS. Both phones will have common specs, such as an 11-megapixel front camera, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, 5G, Wi-Fi 7, and ultra-wideband. The Pixel 8 Pro will have an FIR thermometer for contactless body temperature measurements.
